After Catania 2014, Torino 2015, and Montpellier 2016, the 4th International Workshop on Economic Analysis of Litigation will be hosted by EconomiX - CNRS & University Paris Nanterre, on next June 22-23 2017. Objectives of the workshop: the aim of this meeting is to bring together economists and lawyers to discuss the problems of justice, courts' functioning and the litigation process. This year, we would like to put particular emphasis on the role of constitutional justice and judicial independence and their interplay with society and economic activity. Topics – the organizing committee encourages submissions of both theoretical and empirical works, especially in the following topics: Constitutional Courts, Judicial Independence, Judicial Institutions and the Economy, Judicial Performance, Courts' Organization, Judicial Decision-Making, Litigation Process, Comparative Judicial Systems. A keynote address will be given by Stefan Voigt (Hamburg University). Papers with a clear focus on constitutional economics will be considered for publication on a special issue on Constitutional Political Economy. The papers not entering the topic above can still be directed to the European Journal of Law and Economics.
